About the company

The Labrador Campus is the newest campus of Memorial University, established in January 2022. The Labrador Campus is situated on the homelands of the Innu and Inuit of Labrador and, through governance structures and foundational principles, is growing in partnership with the Innu Nation, the Nunatsiavut Government, and the NunatuKavut Community Council to create a place-based, Northern-focused, and Indigenous-led campus in Labrador. Home to the School of Arctic and Subarctic Studies and the Pye Centre for Northern Boreal Food Systems, the Labrador Campus is a vibrant centre for Northern-focused, Northern-inspired, and Northern-led research, education, and community partnerships. As part of this exciting and historic transformation, the Labrador Campus is developing undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate degrees, diplomas, certificates, and professional development learning opportunities, expanding our research activities, developing new infrastructure, and growing our team.
