Title of the position: Vietnamese Fine Dining Cuisine Cook (NOC 63200). 
 
Job duties: 
 
Prepare and cook gluten-free Vietnamese dishes and meals. 
Plan menus and determine food portions. 
Design plates and presentation. 
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff. 
Oversee kitchen operations. 
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment. 
Order food, supplies, and equipment, as necessary. 
Ensure food safety and a clean and safe work environment in the kitchen. 
 
Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time; 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM (Can have Sunday or Monday off). 
 
The language of work: English. 
 
Wage: $20 per hour.

Location of work: Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Required education: 
 
Completion of secondary school is strongly preferred. 
Completion of culinary school and/or a food safety program is strongly preferred. 
 
Required work experience: 
 
1 - 3 years of experience with cooking gluten free food. 
1 - 3 years of experience with cooking Vietnamese cuisine. 
Experience with preparing and designing gluten-free menus 
Experience with working in a fast-paced environment. 
Experience with working as part of a team. 
Experience with leading a kitchen crew.
